NYU Langone Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on rotating shifts. Under a pharmacist’s direction, you will assist with storage, dispensing, and distribution of medications and manage inventory and orders.

You will operate pharmacy technology systems and triage medication order inquiries from nursing staff. Qualified candidates will have a NYS Pharmacy Technician certification or completion of NYU’s program, strong attention to detail, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; NYS Pharmacy Technician training acceptable.
• 2 years experience as Pharmacy Technician or completion of NYU Pharmacy Technician training program.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Strong organization and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Completes annual competency assessments.
• Stores and secures medications appropriately.
• Places and expedites orders; verifies receipts.
