Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe handling of pharmaceutical waste; disposal of hazardous meds.
• Supports distribution processes (delivery, stats, cassette filling).
• Fills unit dose cassettes under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Packages medications using automated technologies.
• Assists in inventory control and stock management with expirations.
• Delivers medication to patient care areas and refills cabinets.
• Performs medication station reviews and expiration checks.
• Assembles IV medications under USP 797 guidelines; orders meds as needed.
