Responsibilities

Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify information.
Prepack bulk medicines, fill bottles with prescribed medications, and label.
Answer telephones and respond to questions or requests.
Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
Assist customers by answering questions or locating items.
Maintain documentation in compliance with regulations.
Responsible for inventory management.
Execute hospital and pharmacy policies and procedures.
Ensure received orders are managed within established guidelines.
Interact with staff, internal and external customers and peer groups at various management levels.
