Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support medication preparation and distribution under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

You will assist in sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory control, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining patient-focused service. Active Ohio pharmacy technician registration and ongoing education are required throughout employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered or eligible for pharmacy technician registration in Ohio. Technicians Trainees must submit documents to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy before start date.
• Maintain Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician status with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy; trainees must upgrade within 1.5 years of hire.
• Final candidates subject to successful background check; visa sponsorship not provided.
