Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the Windham Hospital team. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications while ensuring that patient safety protocols are followed.

Your contributions will focus on patient interactions, medication preparation, and team collaboration in a supportive healthcare environment. Candidates should hold a High School diploma and be certified or in pursuit of certification as a Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

• Must be A Registered Pharmacy Technician with the CT Department of Consumer Protection within 30 days of hire.
• At least one year of hospital pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient interviews and documents information.
• Prepares compounded sterile products according to regulations.
• Assists in the preparation and distribution of medications.
• Positively interacts with patients and enhances quality of service.
