Job summary

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Samaritan Medical Center for a night shift (10 hours). The role involves delivering medications to nursing units and hospital clinical units, cleaning IV suites, and supporting the Hazardous Spill Response Team.

Required: High School Diploma, 6 months of experience preferred in retail or healthcare pharmacy, strong reading/writing/verbal communication skills, and certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have good reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, well organized and capable of managing one’s time.
• Certification (PTCB or NHA) required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all medications to nursing units and hospital clinical units.
• Clean the IV suites.
• Member of the Hazardous Spill Response Team.
• Troubleshoot ADM issues and enter ADM work tickets.
• Other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Technician Supervisor/Director of Pharmacy.
