CompleteRx is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Moore County Hospital District in Dumas, TX. The position offers part-time (24 hours/week) or full-time (32 hours/week) schedules with hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• I.V. Certification or willing to obtain within six months of hire date.
• Formal Pharmacy Technician training course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders.
• Identifies and fills replacement medications on carts and floor stock.
• Prepares sterile products including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition.
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas.
• Rotates stock to use products before expiration date.
• Handles returns from patient care areas on delivery rounds.
• Enters charges and credits for patient medications.
• Replaces outdated and unusable drugs.
