Wellstar Health Systems in Georgia is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to prepare, compound, and dispense medications under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. Must demonstrate competency through supervised observation and adhere to all required competencies.

The role involves medication distribution, ADC responsibilities, IV admixture, and miscellaneous duties while ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with pharmacy policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PHT - Registered Pharmacy Tech license; CPHT - Cert Pharmacy Tech or PHARMINT - Pharmacist - Intern Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy.
• Hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Must follow USP standards and safety/compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, compound, dispense medications under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Operate ADC system; load medications, generate reports, and monitor par levels.
• Restock medications, recalls, and assure proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain aseptic technique and comply with safety policies in IV admixture and compounding.
• Provide customer service to healthcare professionals and other staff.
