Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and regulations and dispense accordingly.
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions, errors, and complaints.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives, inventory, and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor, record, and communicate using computerized documentation systems.
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
