The Pharmacy Technician II at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is responsible for performing advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions with accuracy and timeliness. You will support medication storage, maintain logs, and assist pharmacists in clinical reviews and billing tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will also ensure aseptic technique for parenteral compounding, participate in audits, and help with regulatory compliance under the supervision of pharmacy management.

Qualifications

• PHARM-Intern) Pharmacist - Intern, or (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License
• +1 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience

Responsabilités

• Performs advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions accurately and timely
• Maintains required documentation logs and ensures medication storage and security
• Assists pharmacists in clinical reviews, medication reconciliation, and triaging reports
• Performs audits (e.g., anesthesia, overrides, billing) and supports regulatory compliance
• Ensures aseptic technique for parenteral compounding and conducts monthly storage area inspections
