Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, and deliver medications and IV solutions under the supervision of a Pharmacist. The role supports inventory management, IV room operations, and dispensing systems with detailed adherence to USP chapters 795 and 797.

This position prepares, packages, compounds, and delivers medications and IV solutions accurately and safely under the direction of a Pharmacist, while operating pharmacy technology and automated medication dispensing systems. The role also supports inventory management, medication storage and expiration monitoring, IV room operations, ordering and stocking supplies, and effective communication within the pharmacy department.
Schedule: Full-Time, Evenings Shift: 3PM - 11:30 PM, every other weekend
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Graduate from Pharmacy Technician Program preferred
Pharmacy Technician Licensure required Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Certification through NHA required.
Good interpretive/analytical skills for medication dosage calculations Basic computer skills Good interpersonal skills
Work is performed according to specific procedures and methods, but the incumbent must make minor decisions in order to adapt to routine situations.
