Job summary

Valley Baptist - Harlingen is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist in dispensing, stock automated dispensing cabinets, prepare IV admixtures, and ensure regulatory compliance across neonate to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include labeling, packaging, responding to STAT orders, and maintaining medication stock. Requires HS diploma and Pharmacy Technician license; hospital experience preferred and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license/certification as required by state law.
• Preferred: Accredited training in sterile products preparation and IV admixture.
• Preferred: Hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill and label medication orders accurately with correct strength and quantity.
• Stock ADCs and maintain cabinet inventory.
• Prepare simple IV admixtures in line with policies.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and respond to requests.
• Maintain records for extemporaneous preparations and stock levels.
