Qualifications

• Florida Registered Certified Pharmacy Technician license required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Sterile and non-sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automated dispensing/storage technology preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with critical thinking.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists in sterile and non-sterile compounding and distribution of medications.
• Supports pharmacists in dispensing and related duties.
• Assists in designing, coordinating, and implementing high-quality pharmacy technician services.
• Maintains accurate record-keeping and training documentation.
• Inspects storage and labeling of medications; documents findings.
• Promotes teamwork with pharmacists and technicians and supports cost-effective operations.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements for pharmacy practice.
