Responsibilities

• Delivers medication and secures it until delivery.
• Ensures all medication is verified by a pharmacist prior to delivery.
• Stocks ADC with standard and patient-specific meds using barcode tech.
• Stocking of medication kits, boxes and trays for inpatient use.
• Inspects medication storage areas and reports barcode failures.
• Answers calls and assists or directs to pharmacy staff.
• Labels prepackaged meds using barcode technology.
• Performs sterile and hazardous compounding under supervision per policy.
