Job summary

Glacial Ridge Health System in Glenwood, MN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists across the facility. The role focuses on daily logistics, inventory control, sterile compounding, and accurate medication management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keeps pharmacy stocked with appropriate items and quantities.
• Manages medications stocked elsewhere in the facility (Omnicell, clinic, Instymed, crash carts, etc.). Ensures product rotation and pulls soon to be expired medication.
• Delivers medications to patient care areas and other clinical areas as appropriate.
• Performs pharmacy sterile compounding under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Maintains neat and clean Pharmacy Department.
• Performs medication area audits.
• Performs all functions of a Pharmacy Technician as set forth by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
• Receives, unpacks, and checks incoming stock and places into inventory.
• Participates in inventory control.
• Keeps current on annual facility training, CE requirements, and department specific training.
• Reviews and assists with department charges.
• Assists Pharmacist with clinical duties and audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Location: Glacial Ridge Heath System - Glenwood, MN 56334, Salary Range: $21.06 - $31.86 Hourly, The Hospital Pharmacy Technician maintains daily pharmacy logistics, inventory control, and sterile compounding.
