Community Hospital South is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in hospital operations, including medication preparation, stock management, and packaging. Comfort with Omnicell and sterile product preparation is preferred.

The role requires a high school diploma and is ideal for individuals with hospital pharmacy experience; PTCB certification is preferred and a valid Oklahoma permit when eligible. This is a PRN, on-site position within a patient-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred; Oklahoma permit when eligible.
• Moderate keyboard proficiency; 10-key typing ability.

Responsabilités

• Procures and distributes medication orders per pharmacist request.
• Maintains adequate Omnicell medication stock throughout the Hospital.
• Prepares intravenous admixtures or other sterile products accurately.
• Rotates medication stock to remove expiring items.
• Procures controlled substances while keeping inventory balanced.
• Assists in answering the phone and directs calls to the pharmacist.
• Demonstrates competency and works as part of the hospital team.

Hospital pharmacy experience

Typing 20-30 wpm

Formation
