Job summary

Trinity Health in Greensboro, GA seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in preparing medications and documents for patient care. You will assist pharmacists, maintain sterility, and help manage inventory while ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.

Prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience is desirable, and phar macy technician certification (CPhT) is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directly accountable to the Pharmacist for the quick and accurate preparation of drugs and related documents for patient care.
• All drugs and documents will be checked prior to leaving the pharmacy; technicians must strive for accuracy.
• Sterility of injections must be maintained at all times; maintain laminar flow hoods and other equipment.
• Maintain adequate supplies of medications by ensuring all items are recorded on the order log.
