Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current New Jersey Board of Pharmacy registration in good standing required.
• Proficiency in regulatory requirements and compliance with established hospital policies required.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Candidates must be able to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Ability to support the medication needs of adult and geriatric patient populations.

Aufgaben

• Fills unit dose and IV medication orders accurately and promptly according to established procedures.
• Keeps up with new medication orders and changing workflow demands.
• Performs assigned pharmacy duties, including logs, inspections, medication filling, deliveries, restocking, and related tasks.
• Completes required documentation and maintains accurate records of activities.
• Delivers medications promptly according to assignment or supervisor guidance.
• Loads Pyxis dispensing systems accurately.
• Answers department phones promptly and professionally.
• Supports pharmacy operations during downtime and prepares for the following day.
• Follows sterile and non-sterile compounding requirements where applicable.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and reports safety concerns.
