Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications. The role requires hospital pharmacy experience, active state registration, and CPhT certification within 6 months.

Expect to work evenings/nights in a full-time schedule with a strong focus on patient safety and compliance. Responsibilities include operating automation equipment, managing inventory, and supporting billings and patient counseling as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent experience required.
• Active registered, in good standing, with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application by first day of work, including fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained within 6 months of hire.
