The role involves direct patient and staff interaction, adherence to policies, and collaboration with nursing and clinical teams. Massachusetts registration and a CPhT are required, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration required.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy-related experience required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two years of hospital-based pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare oral liquids and extemporaneous dosage forms following formulary sheets or labels.
• Operate advanced automated technology for sterile and non-sterile preparation.
• Pick medications for automated dispensing cabinet replenishment accurately.
• Perform inventory management and maintain records.
• Fill floor stock remote orders (e.g., OR, ER) accurately.
• Maintain storeroom and back-up stock to ensure supply.
