Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Pharmacy Tech II to support pharmacists in daily department workflow and ensure safe medication handling.

You will assist with procurement, preparation, delivery, and restocking of medications, while upholding policies, safety protocols, and exceptional service to internal and external customers. Hospital experience and active Tennessee tech license are required.

Qualifications

• TN State Pharmacy Tech license required.
• PTCB Certification required.
• Hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and dispense accordingly.
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding reactions, errors, and complaints.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor, record, and communicate as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
