Job summary

Qualifications

• No prior work experience required; hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed pharmacist in preparation and distribution of medications.
• Accurately selects, prepares, and labels medications for patients.
• Screens phone calls and routes as needed.
• Assists with inventory control and outdate checking.
• Performs nonsterile compounding per USP standards; sterile IV admixture where applicable.
