Cary Medical Center Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Maine. Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists with preparing and distributing medications, maintaining medication inventory, compounding and mixing IV medications, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Technicians are expected to demonstrate strong attention to detail, maintain patient confidentiality, follow all applicable policies and procedures, and comply with local, state, and federal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; college courses desirable but not required.
• Active Maine Pharmacy Technician license.
• 2–3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and check orders.
• Maintain and restock medication inventory.
• Assist pharmacists with IV compounding and preparation.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with laws and policies.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists and staff.
• Attend department staff meetings and assist in training.
