Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in at least the first professional year of study in an accredited college or school of Pharmacy.
• Current State of Michigan License as a Pharmacy Intern

Responsibilities

• Performs all functions of a Pharmacy Technician on a regular basis.
• Checks and fills unit dosages for refill to automated dispensing cabinets.
• Compounds topical and internal dosage forms per established practice.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Delivers medications to nursing units and reconciles discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with USP 797/USP 800 guidelines.
