Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Intern for a PRN/temporary trainee role. You will assist pharmacists, handle dispensing tasks, and support inventory and patient record maintenance under pharmacist supervision.

The position requires enrollment in a pharmacy degree program; no experience is required. The role includes one weekday evening shift per week and alternating weekends, in a hospital pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be enrolled in pharmacy school.
• PharmacyIntern positions are for students pursuing a Pharmacy Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications under supervision.
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records.
• Handle customer service, phones, and insurance billing under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare IV medications and assist with inventory control and quarterly inspections.
• Follow all procedures for documenting and dispensing controlled substances.
