Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy intern registration with KS and/or MO is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assists in accurate medication order filling and record keeping; prepares medications including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, TPN, unit-dose and compounds.
• Operates computer systems to input orders and retrieve patient information.
• Interacts with customers in a courteous, professional manner and directs issues to the pharmacist.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory and ensures timely distribution of medications and supplies.
