The role requires organizing technicians' workflow, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations. Evening/overnight schedule, full-time, on-site with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with BS Pharm or PharmD.
• Completion of pharmacy internship and holds state licensure.
• Preferred: One year of hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare medications by reviewing orders and detecting incompatibilities.
• Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapies and advise interventions.
• Organize and direct technicians' workflow; verify preparations and labeling.
• Provide pharmacological information and counsel patients and health care professionals.
• Develop hospital staff's pharmacological knowledge through training and education.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal drug laws; maintain records and inspections.
• Protect patients by adhering to infection-control protocols.
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge through workshops and literature review.
• Perform other related duties as required.
