Qualifications

  • Current license to practice Pharmacy in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to efficient department operations.
  • Receives, interprets, processes, and dispenses physician orders for medications and IV solutions.
  • Fills and dispenses outpatient prescriptions; handles cytotoxic drugs; manages Schedule II meds; checks technician work; performs floor inspections.
  • Delivers patient care appropriate to neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Participates in pharmacokinetic dosing services for aminoglycosides, vancomycin, and aminophylline.
