Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Lufkin is seeking a part-time contract pharmacist to support inpatient medication systems and inventories. The role focuses on restocking the automated medication system (AMS), maintaining inventory integrity, and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with a state license and ACPE accreditation, plus hospital experience is preferred. Evening or weekend work may occur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and 6 months experience required.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of practice required.
• Graduate of ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restock the automated medication system (AMS) at least twice weekly and as needed.
• Ensure integrity of pharmacy inventory related to expiration dating and AMS accuracy.
• Submit reports and audits as scheduled and requested.
