North Carolina Specialty Hospital is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to manage medication orders, ensure accurate dispensing, and provide drug information to clinicians and patients across inpatient services.

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, you will supervise pharmacy staff, maintain complete drug records, monitor drug therapies for safety and efficacy, and support formulary compliance and quality initiatives hospital-wide.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree.
• 1 year of experience as Pharmacist in a hospital setting required
• Current NC state license as a Registered Pharmacist
• Current and active BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request and maintains patient profiles.
• Monitors drug therapies for contraindications and interactions; provides drug information.
• Supervises and directs pharmacy technicians and ensures timely services.
• Maintains compliance, documentation, and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Keeps storage areas clean, organized and promotes formulary adherence.
