Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree.
• 1 year of experience as Pharmacist in a hospital setting.
• Current NC state license as a Registered Pharmacist.
• Current and active BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Ensures safe, cost effective medication therapies and monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications and interactions.
• Supervises pharmacy support personnel and verifies daily activities of pharmacy technicians.
• Maintains records of all drug transactions and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
