Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our pharmacy team to ensure safe, effective medication use for our patients. You will interpret orders, verify accuracy, and provide pharmaceutical care while communicating drug information to patients and staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy degree, NC license (or eligibility within 60 days), and experience in a hospital setting or residency.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed or eligible to become licensed in North Carolina within 60 days
• Hospital experience and/or pharmacy residency is desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required

Responsibilities

• Interprets and evaluates appropriateness of physicians' orders and ensures accuracy of the final product
• Communicates drug information to customers and provides pharmaceutical care

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Residency and/or Pharm.D. degree (preferred)
