Job summary
Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital in Texas is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Lubbock Heart team in a PRN capacity. You will assist in delivery and maintenance of pharmacy services, provide clinical consultation, supervise technicians, and contribute to drug reviews and quality initiatives within the department.
The role requires state licensure, a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy, and at least three years of hospital or clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Pharmacist license in Texas required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from accredited school.
- Minimum three years of pharmacist experience in hospital or commercial drug store.
Responsibilities
- Assists in delivery and maintenance of pharmacy services.
- Provides clinical consultation to practitioners.
- Supervises technicians.
- Participates in clinical functions such as drug reviews and audit activities.
- Maintains documentation of clinical activities.
- Participates in hospital meetings as required.
