Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years hospital pharmacist experience (large medical center).
• Epic software experience.
• Sterile compounding experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Epic system to review and verify orders for correct dose and administration times; support formulary.
• Dispense properly labeled medications following scanning processes; follow USP guidelines (797/800).
• Prioritize and monitor daily duties; coordinate break times to maintain patient care services.
• Monitor drug supply; initiate orders; inspect inventory for outdated drugs.
• Maintain all pharmacy records per State, Federal, and Dept. of Pharmacy regulations.
