Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD).
• Experience not required; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense medications under supervision.
• Review orders to ensure correct dose, frequency, and administration times.
• Utilize Epic system to verify orders and monitor interactions.
• Prepare IV medications per guidelines; follow USP 797/800 where applicable.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records per regulations for narcotics and controlled substances.
• Monitor inventory and remove outdated drugs from stock.
• Represent the hospital professionally and participate in quality improvement.
