Job summary

Kindred Hospital Baldwin Park is seeking a Pharmacist to join our patient‑centered pharmacy team. The pharmacist compounds, dispenses medications, and supports clinical staff under the Director of Pharmacy.

The role includes chart review, dose verification, and collaboration with hospital leadership to ensure safe, effective therapy. You will supervise technicians, participate in performance improvement, and provide education across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree.
• Current state pharmacist license in good standing.
• BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Compounds and dispenses medications per physician prescriptions.
• Consults with Administration and Medical Staff on quality and regulatory matters.
• Supervises technicians and maintains pharmacy safety and records.
• Interprets orders and ensures appropriate dosing for adult and geriatric patients.
• Supports clinical, quality, and education programs within the hospital.
