Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• BS in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD preferred.
• Current NM Pharmacist license.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred; strong clinical rotations accepted for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, label, compound, and dispense medications and IV solutions.
• Monitor patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness.
• Provide medication information to patients and staff.
• Maintain inventory, records, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise technicians and support staff.
• Assist with formulary management and dispensing tech changes.
• Participate in Rapid Response and Code Blue as needed.
• Complete competency evaluations and continuing education.
• Adhere to hospital policies and pharmacy laws.
