Job summary

Cibola General Hospital in Grants, New Mexico is seeking a Pharmacist to fill medication orders, monitor patient therapies, and provide drug information to the healthcare team. This role may assume leadership duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Director.

You will supervise pharmacy technicians, manage inventory, participate in formulary decisions, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. The pharmacist will ensure accurate dispensing and patient safety in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness.
• Provide drug information to physicians, nurses, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage department operations.
• Participate in formulary management and ADM changes.
• Contribute to rapid response and Code Blue situations as needed.
