Position features a 40-hour week with a mix of day and evening shifts, every other weekend rotation, and no overnights. Eligibility includes Missouri license; prior acute care experience is preferred. You’ll work with Pyxis, Meditech, or Dose Edge in a decentralized model with solid support staff.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri pharmacist license required prior to start.
• Experience in acute care or inpatient pharmacy preferred.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Experience with pharmacy systems such as Pyxis, Meditech, or Dose Edge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
• Ability to work rotating day and evening shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders to support safe and effective patient care.
• Prepare, dispense, and manage medications in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Support sterile and non-sterile compounding processes as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation using pharmacy and clinical systems.
• Collaborate with technicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Assist with medication distribution workflows, including first-dose processing and inventory support.
• Help ensure timely response to medication-related questions and requests throughout the shift.
