GHR Travel Nursing seeks a Travel Pharmacist for a hospital-based ambulatory infusion pharmacy in Aurora, Colorado. You will review, verify, and dispense medications for oncology and infusion patients in a 13-week assignment with a 40-hour work week.

The role requires infusion pharmacy experience, PharmD, Colorado license, BLS, and chemo/hazardous drug credentials. Epic experience is essential, with a block day schedule (5x8) and weekdays only, no weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of infusion pharmacy experience required.
• Current Colorado state pharmacy license required.
• PharmD required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• Board certification and chemo/hazardous drug credentials required.
• Experience with Epic required.
• Travel pharmacist experience required.
• Strong knowledge of outpatient and ambulatory care workflows, chemotherapy, compounding, sterile technique, Pyxis, and high-alert medications.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, prepare, and dispense hazardous and non-hazardous medications for oncology and infusion patients.
• Perform accurate medication safety checks and support high-alert therapy workflows.
• Maintain strong sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling practices.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support timely, patient-focused pharmacy services.
• Document accurately and manage workflow using Epic.
• Follow pharmacy protocols and quality standards to help ensure safe, efficient medication delivery.
