Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for a full-time position at University Hospital. The PCA works as part of a care team with Registered Nurses to deliver patient care and supportive services, aiming to involve patients in their care plans and improve outcomes.

New hires will attend a week-long PCA training/orientation, held Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• Previous patient care experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills.
• Successful completion of PCA training course required after hire.
