Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a PBX Operator for per diem/variable shifts. You will operate the telecommunications console, place and relay calls for the Physicians Answering Service, and perform paging and code announcements according to procedures.

• Hospital or large business switchboard experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates telecommunications console in placing, receiving and relaying calls.
• Answers all incoming calls for Physicians Answering Service and follows each physician's procedure.
• Performs paging, code announcements and other duties in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
