Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Six (6) months customer service or patient transport experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the first day of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient service attitude toward patients and staff.
• Provides transportation of patients and items to various areas.
• Transports patients safely using wheelchair or hospital bed.
• Verifies patient identification before transport.
• Follows safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and dispatch.
