Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Patient Transporter to safely and efficiently move patients and communicate transport status to appropriate departments.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent); BLS/CPR certification preferred (to be completed within 8 weeks). This is a full-time position with day shift and rotating weekends/holidays, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification strongly preferred (must complete CPR certification within 8 weeks of orientation).

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively transports patients.
• Selects and prioritizes transports according to policy.
• Communicates with appropriate departments regarding transport status and hospital hand-off.

Education
