Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for part-time Patient Dining Associates at Saint Mary's Hospital in Tucson, AZ. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver trays, and collaborate with nursing and culinary teams to ensure meals meet nutritional requirements and are delivered on time.

No experience is required; training will be provided. The position offers a 12-hour shift part-time schedule and a fixed pay rate of $15.45 per hour, with

Qualifications

Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements or restrictions.
Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural/religious preferences.
Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays from patient rooms on time.
Comply with HIPAA and facility policies; follow HACCP guidelines for handling food and sanitation.
Follow infection control policies and department procedures.
