Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support licensed clinical staff in caring for patients from birth to the lifecycle. Shifts are 12 hours (7 am–7 pm) as needed, including holidays and weekends, at Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Candidate must have a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of patient care experience, and BLS upon hire. CNA and PCT program certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred, hospital/acute care setting.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Patient Care Technician program certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.
