Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to provide compassionate care to patients across all ages under the supervision of licensed clinical staff. You will demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment in line with hospital policy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of patient care experience; BLS is required upon hire, CNA is preferred, and a PCT program certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of patient care experience required, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
