Job summary

Reimagined Parking is seeking a Parking Ambassador for UAB Hospital, located at 1701 6th Ave in Birmingham. Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 12:00pm–6:00pm. Pay rate: $15/hr. You will welcome guests, direct parking, and assist with payments to ensure a safe, organized experience.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Must be 18+, pass a background check, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
• Must pass a background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional experience to customers and visitors
• Greet and assist patrons with directions, payments, and inquiries
• Monitor parking areas for policy compliance
• Issue citations or warnings per policy
• Respond promptly to customer concerns or service requests
• Assist with traffic flow during peak times and events
• Perform basic facility checks (signage, cleanliness, equipment)
• Report hazards or maintenance issues to management
• Use parking systems or handheld devices as required
• Maintain a clean, safe parking environment
• Represent the organization professionally at all times
