Job summary

Navicent Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide patient care assessment and treatment, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to policies, and improving quality of care for all age groups in a hospital setting. Requirements include a B.S.

or M.S. in Occupational Therapy and current licensure. CPR/BLS Level C certification preferred.

• Able to communicate with patients of all age groups and significant others appropriate to the level of comprehension.
• Has knowledge, clinical skills, and understanding of the patient throughout the entire span of life.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient records and discharge notes.
• Ensures patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive and per standard of practice.
• Recommends next level of care and contributes to quality outcomes.
• Supervises support staff and ensures productivity and accuracy of records.
