Qualifications

• Master’s degree in hospital administration, business administration or related field.
• Minimum of five to seven years management experience with increasing responsibility.
• Serves as staff leader to the board and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages patient care with medical staff, hospital administration, department heads, and nursing staff.
• Ensures open communication across hospital areas to uphold policies and procedures.
• Manages ancillary and support departments to ensure quality, safe patient care and patient satisfaction.
• Participates in educational programs to meet mandatory requirements and identified needs.
• Attends departmental meetings and documents review of meetings; participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintains confidentiality and promotes an attitude of compliance within WVU Medicine system.

Education

Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration or related field
